Vancouver & the Lower Mainland

The songs you
forgot you loved.

Classic rock and country cover band. Hand-picked hits, played right. A show that sounds as good as it feels, from a band that’s easy to work with.

Who we are

Classic rock.
Country.
And a few surprises.

Renegade is a high-energy five-piece that keeps the dance floor full all night. The hits you came to hear, plus the ones you forgot you loved.

Song selection is the band’s calling card. Renegade skips the tired cover-band standards and digs up the songs that get a whole room singing: 70s and 80s classic rock, rock-driven country, Canadian favourites and a few you didn’t see coming.

From the Vancouver Convention Centre to weddings, festivals, casinos and the best pubs in the Lower Mainland, it’s the same polished show on every stage, with a little grit and a lot of fun. Nine years in, the goal hasn’t changed: great music and a party that runs until the lights come up.

Renegade is a classic rock and country cover band from Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. It started in 2017 with five local musicians and friends who simply wanted to play great music together. That turned into a mission: play the songs people forgot how much they loved, and play them well enough that the room stays for one more.

They made their name fast, beating out more than 20 local acts at the Hard Rock Casino's Rock the Mic in their first full year and coming in second only to a full-time working band. In 2025 they went one better, winning the annual Shipyards Battle of the Bands in North Vancouver.

The sound lives in 70s and 80s classic rock, with rock-driven country, Canadian favourites and the best of 90s and 2000s rock worked in where they fit. Song selection is the band's secret weapon. Every song earns its place, and there are always a few the crowd didn't see coming.

On stage, Renegade is polished without being slick. The band runs in-ear monitors and its own production, so the show sounds big without flattening the room. That has taken them from the Vancouver Convention Centre and the Langley AirShow to weddings, packed casinos, the best pubs in the Lower Mainland and one memorable night on a barge up Indian Arm.

They're local, they're easy to work with, and they show up ready to play.
